BANCE COMMERCIAL LAW is the new name of the firm of  BANCE TICKELL which was founded in 2001 by Michael Bance and Paul Page-Tickell. We specialise in Business, and Commercial Law, Information Technology, Telecoms, Outsourcing and Procurement, Commercial Leases and Employment law.

Michael Bance qualified as a solicitor in 1981. He read Modern Languages at Oxford University. In addition to substantial experience as a Commercial and European Partner in private practice, he has 14 years’ experience as an in-house lawyer in blue-chip multi-national organisations, 8 of which were as Head of Legal and Legal Director in the IT/Technology sector. He has worked in France and Germany and conducted many cross-border legal negotiations and transactions in Europe, USA, EM EA and Australasia. He works in English or French and speaks German.
